An excellent new hotel which offers style, comfort and an excellent location in the very centre of Denmark. The hotel takes on the position of being the best in town with ease. Highly recommended.
The hotel has an unbeatable location in the very centre of Kolding, right next to the railway station and only a stones throw from the cobbled streets of the city's shopping and entertainment district. In the vicinity of the hotel is Koldinghus Castle and the lake "Slotssoen".
This new hotel offers stylish and modern rooms on three floors. Each floor has a different colour theme highlighting the design aspect of the hotel. The rooms are medium in size offering simple furnishings. All come with a 28" Flatscreen TV, complete with a hook-up slot to allow DVD's to be played from a laptop straight onto the screen, plus Jenson Beds and a Walter Knoll chair. The bathrooms are compact and well designed.
The hotel is incorporated in a new city development which includes residential units and leisure facilities. It is a mixed medium building using glass, concrete and wood to create a simple but architectural statement.
A large modern open-planned dining hall with a modern theme of black and white. It has floor to ceiling windows on two sides giving views towards the train station and is the epitome of modern Scandinavian design.
The lobby is minimalist, spacious and representative of the design which can be seen throughout the hotel. There are a number of art installations and chairs to rest tired feet and stimulate the mind.
