The hotel is situated in its own grounds on the shores of Loch Ness. It is actually 7 miles from Inverness, but is a good alternative because of its beautiful location. The surrounding views have to be seen to be believed.

This is a traditional, lodge like hotel and it is long and thin with a large car park at the front. The hotel is literally on the edge of Loch Ness with only a small area of grass separating them.
