The parador is a wonderful 18 hectare complex situated in an exceptionally beautiful grounds, isolated from the town and protected by the sea. It looks out over the Vigo and Baiona Rias from a privileged site on the Monte Real.
The bedrooms are spacious and many of them overlook the sea, the decoration is based in wooden floors and beamed ceilings some have four poster beds.
This is one of the most extraordinary paradors, half medieval fortress and half Galician stately architecture. It rises up as an impressive viewpoint over the ocean, surrounded by a walled enclosure and flanked by a beautiful pine wood.
