This is probably the best located hotel in Burgos taking into account its proximity to the marvelous medieval style cathedral. It is just a few metres away from the main entrance to the cathedral and the beautiful old town. G1/G3
The medium sized and welcoming rooms are decorated in a traditional Castilian style with tiled floors, pieces of furniture made of strong dark wood such as bedside cabinets and wardrobes, which create a traditional style. The bathrooms come also completely equipped.
The hotel is housed in a historic building where from 1483 till 1489 Fadrique of Basilea and Jua of Burgos had their print. Here is where the first edition of the popular book - The Celestina was printed. It has been kept to a very good condition and is completely updated and modernised.
The restaurant is also decorated in a traditional style creating a homely and warm atmosphere where traditional dishes and unbeatable wines are served to the delight of the guest. It's one of the most popular restaurants in town.
The lobby area is medium in size and again decorated in a functional but conventional style with wooden tables and chairs as well as the traditional reception desk.
