This delightful hotel is ideally situated on the edge of the medieval town, right at the foot of the Chateau of Loches.
The rooms, reached by a steep staircase, offer modest and a little dated accommodation, yet many of the rooms still retain some of the features of their 15th century decor, like beams or stone fireplaces.
This historical building still looks very much like the original 15th century coaching inn.
The restaurant is probably one of the best features of the hotel. Beside offering fine and delicious French traditional cuisine, it also has a terrace with an unrivalled and spectacular view on the banks of the river Indre.
