There is a free ferry from St Joseph-de-la-Rive on the mainland to get to the Island. The island itself is covered by rolling fields and farmland. From your room, you can admire a view of the St Lawrence Seaway, with the mountains of the Charlevoix region on the horizon or the beautiful rolling scenery.
