The hotel is a great 4 star old colonial hotel. It is built overlooking the river and has housed many visiting notables, including US President Herbert Hoover. Although expanded in 1924 and 1987, this hotel is still a place for people who like history. The attractive old building is still an impressive sight, so are the English plaques on the walls and the stunning lobby mural. (05/03 HY)
