This is a good standard, modern hotel with easy access to many of the sights of Athens. The popular tourist areas of Plaka and Monastiraki can be easily reached on foot or via the excellent metro system from nearby Omonia Square. (1008/AC)
The hotel is situated in the centre of Athens on Kaningos Square, within walking distance of Omonia Square, the Archeological museum and the railway station. The Old Town area of Monastiraki and Plaka are a ten minute walk away (or one metro stop). Fashionable Kolonaki and Syntagma Square are a very short taxi or metro ride away.
The medium-sized rooms are very well furnished in a contemporary style with wooden flooring and bold colours. All are air conditioned with double-glazing, minibar, limited satellite TV, internet access and safety deposit box.
This modern building was originally constructed as a hotel, converted to a private college and has now been restored to its original purpose.
The main restaurant is located on the top floor of the hotel and offers panoramic views of the Acropolis and Lycabettus Hill. There is an additional outdoor seating area for al fresco dining in summer. The buffet breakfast is served on the mezzanine floor.
The medium-sized lobby is bright and well furnished, again with a contemporary theme.
