The hotel is located in Victoria, a trendy and vibrant area of central Athens close to the National Archaeological Museum and the Polytechnic University. The tree lined streets and green parks are a pleasant change of environment from the nearby bustle of Omonia square, just one stop away.
The rooms are medium in size. The hotel has been recently renovated to a very good standard, and all rooms are furnished and decorated in pleasant themes. All have air conditioning and double glazing, internet access, cable and satellite TV. Some of the rooms have verandas offering views of the Acropolis.
The hotel is a 1970's concrete building of a very common style found in the Athenian inner city.
The large City Plaza restaurant has an elegant and cosmopolitan air about it, and offers a varied menu of traditional Greek as well as international tastes. There is a bar, a cafeteria lounge bar, and an amazing roof garden bar that offers stunning views of the Acropolis and Lycabettus hill (open May to October).
The lobby is adequately medium in size, and has a small waiting area and a nice fountain with goldfish. There is also an internet corner in the lobby. The hotel has 2 conference rooms with capacity of 20 to 70 seats and all modern conferencing facilities.
