Inaugurated in 1993 the Pousada has 20 rooms, swimming pool, chapel, garden and a small ampitheatre where displays of traditional games are held.

Situated in the village of Alvito, what used to be the agricultural land of a medieval castle is now a superb garden.

In excellent condition and medium in size with metal four poster beds and chaise longues.

This is a XV century fortress built in a variety of architectural styles including gothic, manueline and mudejar. It is a solid fortress with circular turrets on top of the four corners and a square tower on the north side.

The restaurant is small and cosy offering regional delicacies.
