This resort hotel is located in the east side of famous Lake Biwa, the largest lake in Japan. It takes approximately 15 minutes by car from JR Maibara station on bullet train (Tokaido Shinkansen). The town is not far from the ancient capital, Kyoto. It is one stops or 20 minutes ride on the bullet train from Kyoto to Maibara station or 60 minutes local train ride on JR Hokuriku Main Line and Tokaido Line to the hotel's nearest station, JR Nagahama, which is 10 minutes walk to the hotel. Former Nagahama Castle is near by the hotel. Nagahama Port is also within walking distance. Nagahama Port is a departure point for excursion cruises on Lake Biwa including Chikubu Island.

All rooms are spacious and comfortable. The bathrooms are small but kept in good condition.

It is a modern, 13-storey white building.

There is a restaurant offering both Japanese and Western cuisine.

It is large with some sitting space.
