The hotel is located at the top end of Grindelwald about 15 mins walk from the centre of the village and the railway station. Its location affords particularly spectacular views of the Eiger.
The rooms vary a lot in size from small to large. They are decorated in traditional Swiss rustic style and are in very good condition due to an excellent maintenance programme. The bathrooms, which are simple, clean and modern in style are also in very good condition. The hotel is comprised of 1 main building and several apartment buildings all within 2 minutes walking distance.
Though largely a modern building, the hotel is built in traditional chalet style with a wooden facade and colourful flower boxes.
The restaurant is located on the ground floor and is in beautiful Swiss rustic style with carved wooden furniture and tasteful decoration.
The lobby is medium sized and traditionally decorated with lots of rustic carved woodwork and comfortable solid furniture.
